I was in a car accident in February of 2007. Although the damage was substantial to my car (I was t-boned on my side, but the car was fixable), I was not hurt beyond repair. I believe I had $4-$5K in damage. I went to therapy for a total of approximately 6 months. I retained Phillips & Associates as my attorney and they have just submitted my medical bills to my insurance company for review. I didn’t not have any fractures/broken bones, but did have whiplash (correct spelling?) and severe lower back pain. My medical bills came to a total of just under $6,900.00.
Is there any way to guestimate (definatley not a word, I know) what I may be getting for a settlement? By the way, my insurance company is State Farm and I had to sue my own insurance company, because it was a hit and run (Illegal Hispanic) and State Farm refused to pay for me to see a doctor. I told them I had no choice but to contact an attorney and they told me to go for it.
Thank you in advance for any advice!
